Hancock Neighborhood Association Parks & Natural Environment Committee Mission: To enhance and preserve existing open space, parks, and the natural environment. The subcommittees under this committee strive to reach the following goals. · Ensure that the Hancock Recreation Center and Golf course continue to meet the needs of local residents as well as the rest of the city. · Increase and preserve greenspace in areas where it is needed and desired. · Protect and preserve natural resources that help to protect and define our neighborhood such as our urban forest.
