Committees
Local Historic District Committee
Mission
Our mission is to preserve the historic significance and character of the Hancock Neighborhood for current and future generations. In 2004, the Austin City Council authorized the establishment of local historic districts to protect historically significant neighborhoods. Our current effort is focused on exploring this designation for our neighborhood in a deliberate and transparent manner.
