Dear District 9 Residents,

I want to take this opportunity to remind you of the upcoming deadlines for submitting public comments on CodeNEXT’s maps and affordability plan.

Friday, July 7th is the deadline for submitting your comments on CodeNEXT’s draft map. As you may be aware, the draft maps propose significant changes to neighborhoods throughout District 9. If you have not already, please take the opportunity to view the proposed map of your neighborhood and provide feedback to the CodeNEXT consultants.

The CodeNEXT consultants recently released their affordability plan. This part of the Code is critical to the City of Austin and requires comprehensive review and public feedback. Public comments on the affordability plan are due by Friday, July 14th.
