Perry Estate Sound Simulation Canceled

The sound simulation scheduled at the Perry Estate for Thursday, January 10 at 5:30 PM has been canceled due to permitting issues. Updates will be posted if and when HNA receives additional information.

The Perry Estate Special Committee has learned that a sound simulation is scheduled to take place on the Perry Estate. The simulation will be next Thursday starting at 5:30 PM, weather permitting, and should last for 30 minutes.

Sustainable Hancock Project Presentation - Thursday, December 6th 7:00 - 8:30

Come see a SUSTAINABLE FUTURE designed for Hancock!

You’re invited to contribute to an academic sustainable design and planning project led by graduate students of the Community & Regional Planning program at The University of Texas at Austin. Graduate students are investigating different aspects of the Hancock Neighborhood such as housing, mobility, economic development, and environmental and cultural resources. With community participation, they will be developing design and planning ideas for the future of the neighborhood.

The students invite all community members, adults and children to the Final Design Presentation at the Hancock Recreation Center, located at 811 East 41st Street. Your input is invaluable to this shared learning experience, and your presence at the event is greatly appreciated.

Sustainable Hancock

Our neighborhood has been selected as a case study for a "sustainable design and planning project" led by graduate students from the Community and Regional Planning program at the University of Texas. As this flyer denotes, three meetings have been scheduled to facilitate this project, October 23rd, November 15th and December 6th. All of the meetings are scheduled at the Hancock Recreation Center. All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m.
